On Wednesday, KS1 visited St Mary’s church to take part in a Christingle Service, all of our parents and carers were invited and we discussed the meaning of Christingle and how we remember Jesus through the symbol of the orange, the red ribbon and the four sticks, representing the four seasons and the four corners of the world.

Year 2 made their own Christingles and lit up the church as we sang songs. It was a beautiful service and some of our children read biblical passages too.
