🎨 Year 1 Art – Georgia O’Keeffe

This term, Year 1 will be exploring the wonderful artwork of Georgia O’Keeffe, an artist famous for her beautiful, close-up paintings of flowers and nature. 🌸

The children will look carefully at shape, line, colour and detail, developing... their observational skills and experimenting with different art techniques. Inspired by O’Keeffe’s work, they will create their own large-scale flower artwork, thinking carefully about the colours and shapes they can see.

This is a lovely opportunity for our young artists to look closely at the natural world, experiment creatively and express their own ideas through art. 🖌️🌼

✨💜 Head Pupils 💜️✨️

We are thrilled to announce the crowning of our Head Pupils for this academic year.

Our Y6 Head Pupils works well in a team, have outstanding time-management and very good organisational skills.

Both, can confidently communicate with ...parents, staff and students in and around the academy and are always eager to get to know the students in the lower years.

Both pupils have many responsibilities within the academy and their maturity and leadership qualities help them complete duties successfully.

It's a privilege to see you show and demonstrate strong quality's in and around the academy.

You are both a credit to the FNA family and we know for sure you are going to complete your headship with flying colours 🙌

Polite Reminder – Keeping Our Children Safe

Please can we remind all parents, carers and visitors to take extra care when driving, parking or stopping outside the school, particularly at drop-off and collection times.

The yellow “SCHOOL – KEEP CLEAR” markings must be kept ...clear to help maintain good visibility and provide a safer space for children and families entering and leaving the school.

Even stopping for a short time can obstruct sightlines and make it more difficult for children to see approaching traffic and for drivers to see children crossing.

Safeguarding our children is everyone’s responsibility. Thank you for your consideration and cooperation in helping to keep the area around our school entrance as safe as possible.
