As part of World Science Day, Year 1 conducted an investigation as part of their Biology topic. They predicted which part of their body was the best for our sense of touch and then used lots of different textured objects to find out. They had lots of fun and they worked out their hands and feet were the best for the job! Well done Year 1.

Year 5, conducted an investigated as part of Chemistry. They investigated what happens when you mix a solid with a liquid. Using bicarbonate of soda, we mixed it with 3 different of amounts of vinegar and food colouring. They observed what happens. They discovered it creates a gas – carbon dioxide. The children were very amazed!
