On Tuesday, all of Key Stage 2 were invited to a Fun run at Preston Park, it was a big event and all of the primary schools and academies in Stockton and surrounding areas were there too.

We were greeted by a big team of event organisers and Commonwealth medalist and Olympic finalist, Tom Bosworth. He is also a World Record holder and can walk long distances, quicker than most of us can run them!

We all were given a free t-shirt and ran 2km around Preston Park. It was a very hot day, with temperatures reaching 24 degrees, but we all kept our spirits high and kept hydrated.

We had a great time and every single person finished the race and received a special Go Run for Fun medal!
